PASTE THE WALL WALLPAPERS

Paste-the-wall wallpaper is a special paper which only requires you to paste the wall and not the paper. This type of paper is an ideal option if you want to decorate quickly and easily and cut out the time consuming processes that regular wallpapering requires. No pasting table is required if your using a non-pattern matching paper, and you don’t need to wait for paste to soak into the paper before it is hung.  Watch the video below to see some content

Starting out - hanging the first length of paper

Before hanging your first length of wallpaper, you must first establish a starting position, this will be the point at which you hang the first length of paper to the pasted wall.  The starting point for hanging will vary depending on a range of factors;
  • The wall/ room to be wallpapered
  • The pattern match of the paper

If the area to be papered is say a feature wall in a bedroom or lounge, (fig 1.) measure the length of the wall, then find the centre-point, this will be a good place to start for a non-pattern match paper and for straight match wallpapers.

Hang all other lengths of paper from this centre-point out to the edges of the feature wall, this will ensure your paper will be symmetrical at each wall end.
